What happened to Klaus Audio?
A very devastating motorcycle accident occurred on August 7, 2009 and nearly took the life of the owner and primary builder of Klaus Audio, Ryan Clausing. Ryan has spent months in the hospital and is now confined to a wheelchair, as he is paralyzed from the chest-down. The accident occurred just outside Ryan's subdivision, when a 16 year old girl in a Chevy Blazer coming from the opposite direction turned in front of Ryan into her driveway without yielding. The resulting collision was severe and caused extensive damage to the Chevy Blazer, Ryan's ZX-10R motorcycle, and Ryan's body.
It is not currently known if Klaus Audio will again sell completed custom subwoofer boxes, but we have re-activated the portion of the site that gives out the build instructions for our subwoofer boxes. Most people with the correct tools should be able to build a custom box based on the designs given through our site.
